In 1989, Laser Innovations Inc. owner Rick Smith began recycling printer cartridges as a way to support two popular causes; starting a local business and providing jobs to local residents. At the time manufactures were outsourcing the production of toner cartridge overseas. The process of recycling these printer cartridges not only helped save our natural resources but also provided American jobs and local revenue.

Expanded to Include Printer Sales and Printer Repair

Over the past 25 years, Smith has diversified the business to further support local business customers who need quality printer repair, preventive maintenance, assistance with printer selection, and printer sales for brands such as Hewlett Packard, Xerox, Lexmark, Canon, Brother and Dell. Laser Innovations is a State of Illinois certified vendor with the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) along with the Small Business Set a Side Program.

Today Laser Innovations sells and delivers a wide variety of Original, Compatible and Remanufactured cartridges and consumables; provides a wide selection of laser printers, multi-function printers, and inkjet printers for sale; services printers and provides preventive maintenance for a variety of popular printer brands.
